The home monitors the nutritional content of the food in the home to ensure we provide a balanced diet for all residents.
The home has its own cook on site who prepares a variety of home cooked meals to suit the wants, needs and requirements for each person individually and collectively in the home.
The staff monitor residents BMI and this is used as a guide for the staff to ensure weight loss or gain is not an issue. It also helps prompt us to find the best ways to help provide nutritious and enjoyable menus for everyone to enjoy.

Each month the care plans are evaluated and assessed to ensure no one is overlooked and that their needs are met to the full. Weights are monitored on a monthly basis (or more frequently if appropriate). Any areas of concern are raised quickly and if necessary residents can be brought under closer supervision to ensure their dietary needs and fluid intake are met.
